 History
Network Process Service began its existence on the Ground
Floor, 185 William Street, Melbourne (not far from its
current location) in 1969.
This, we believe makes it not only the largest but also
the oldest process serving company in Victoria!
Along side Network back in those days was the Melbourne
Document Exchange and the same owner ran these businesses
together.
The Melbourne Document Exchange was subsequently taken
over by Ausdoc and Network Process Service moved to the
4th floor of 185 William Street, Melbourne.
Network changed its location to Level 3, 83-89 William
Street, Melbourne in 1983 and because of its success expanded its office space in 1985.
In 1989 computers were introduced
and most of the laborious paperwork was taken over by
an excellent computer program. Over the years this has
been updated and developed into a sophisticated
program which included computerized faxes, emails, reporting
functions etc. More recently we have commissioned a major overhall and introduction of leading edge hardware and programs specifically created for Network. This now enables us to embrace future technologies and interface with our customers requirements into the future.
The current owner has been “at the helm” for
over 28 years and has seen the business grow considerably.
Today, it boasts clients ranging from many large and
small legal firms to Commonwealth, State and Local
government departments and instrumentalities.
